Good-bye Fall …

I took this picture on Monday:

We had gale-force winds Tuesday & Wednesday.

Drove by that tree tonight; it’s naked. As a jailbird. Plucked clean.

So long Fall, you were glorious this year …

Here’s a glimpse of what those winds did with Lake Michigan, which lies about 45 min west of here:

    That tree is (was!) spectacular! We’re having sort of a mutant fall where I am–it’s been so dry, half the trees are still green, some are bare, and a few are pretty. It’s hard to complain about day after day of crisp fall sunshine, though. :)
