Oh, that’s good. Yes, I’ve been known to apologize to repair a relationship when I didn’t feel in the wrong. But sometimes being right isn’t worth the cost!

So true. I am often telling my boys to apologize for something and they say, “But it was an accident!” I have to tell them that it doesn’t matter, the other person was hurt (physically or emotionally) and you are sorry for their pain whether it was really your fault or not. I don’t understand when people are reticent to say two simple words…I’m sorry. How painless is that?
It gets less painful every time we do it!
