Who’s in your driver’s seat?

I heard this quote in response to someone saying that they didn’t feel in control of their life.  The response was, No one controls you.  Energy follows thought and thought directs energy.”

So – where ever you direct your THOUGHTS is where energy will go.

If you got up this morning thinking “this day is gonna suck” it will.

The point?

We are in control more than we think.

Where are your thoughts driving you today?

I’m thinking how today is my first day back to work after foot surgery and while I’m still sporting running shoes, mentally, I’m ready to go.

  1. Have a great day back at work! Thanks for the ‘thoughtful’ reminder on the importance of attitude checks.

  2. welcome back to the work world.
i’m trying really hard to have positive thoughts….

  3. Congrats on getting back to work. Solving foot problems really matters.

  4. I think there’s truth to this theory. Yesterday was a crap day in my office with the third layoff since last summer. We were all so sad. There’s been a reorganization and I decided there’s nothing to do but buck up and move forward. And I left the office feeling energized and ready to take on the world, as opposed to yesterday when I came home absolutely drained.

  5. Hope your first day back went well!
Thanks for encouraging us to have a positive attitude.

  6. Great quote. You rock, MJ! I love your attitude :)

  7. Hope your first day back at work went well! This isn’t exactly what you were asking about, but Chad (the husband) gave me this bracelet for Christmas that I love. It is a peace symbol, and on one edge it says, “There is no way to peace.” On the other edge it says, “Peace is the way.” I just love that.
