It starts here

"Sometimes you just have to stop and smell the fllowers" - Frankie aka Ferdinand

When you speak to yourself in a positive and loving voice; you set an example for others to do the same.

Everything we are starts at home. With us.

What’s the sweetest thing you’ve said to yourself lately?

And if you can’t think of something, it’s OK to start now.

  1. Love that cute dog! Here’s something I thought today: I’m proud of myself for giving my daugher fun, learning experiences in her life.

    • Wonderful, and you know she will grow up to treasure those moments and teach them to her daughters some day :) .

The best thing I did for myself today was get up early, look in the mirror and smile. It’s gonna be a good day, MJ

  2. Hi MJ, since I like your blog so much I thought I’d give you an award :D
You can check it out here…..feel free to spread the love ;)

  3. I love the quote, “everyone’s story begins at home.” And whether in a real home, or the home of your heart, yes, that’s where you launch! Thanks for the reminder that it’s good to be kind to ourselves. Too often I put myself last, give myself the leftovers. There’s a balancing act to achieve between selfishness and self-neglect…difficult to find the balance, but worth doing.

    As usual, couldn’t agree more!

    Sheila

    • I loved that quote, too. I’ve written often about my “to do” lists, and my continual need to remember to put myself ON the list, too!! You call ‘em leftovers and I call it “scraps” – same idea. Couldn’t agree more… Cheers! MJ
