  1. Your fall colors are bold! Great quote.

  2. Beautiful! Michigan has such wonderful fall colors. We don’t get too much of that color change here in SE Alaska…mostly evergreens. Thanks for sharing, and for the quote. Inspiring! ~ Sheila

  3. Amazingly beautiful, MJ!

    • Thank you … can you believe I snapped that photo on my cell phone? Right place at the right time! An update on old dog: We had a pretty good visit at the Vet’s last night and she wants to try some new meds – long term pain relief and treatment for his skin that should help his distress. We had a very “Frank” talk about Frankie … I cried and she did, too. She’s cared for him since we got him from the shelter at 9 weeks old. He enjoyed watching the ball game/debate/Lions football last night and seems more settled this morning. :) MJ

      • That sounds good, EM. I know you’re keeping a close eye on him – making sure he’s comfortable!

      • oh yes, he’s been thoroughly attended to. It will be hard to leave for work today but Hubbs is home most of the day and younger boy will be around later. MJ

  4. Gorgeous color! Glad you had a warm family evening with Frankie after the trip to the vet.

    • Thank you, I thought so as well (the colors & the sun peeking through).

The Vet told me that “they love more than us so they age faster than us.” Sniff sniff! She agreed with me that the moaning wasn’t normal and that we should do what we can to get him comfy and keep him there. He’ll let us know when that doesn’t work for him .. 2 doses down and so far, so good. Thank you for your kind thoughts, MJ

  5. Golden beauty…I hope you continue to have good results for the pup, our furry children.

  6. The sun peeking through the vivid colors is lovely :-)

  7. Beautiful. A gorgeous picture is joined with a wonderful quote.

  8. Beautiful!

  9. Gorgeous! Love the contrast of red and gold and the way the sunlight is blazing through the tree branches.

  10. Beautiful fall trees and thanks for the Frankie update… He’s been on my mind since yesterday!

  11. I’m learning that faith is also not worrying about the first step…great pictures.
