I woke to old dog, sleeping soundly and without pain.
I woke to a day filled with nothing in particular to do and all day to do it.
I woke to views like this one and my soul had no choice but to smile.

I’m smiling while planning a birth worker conference in Ecuador followed by a trip into Peru to Machu Picchu. It’s 10 months away, but I’m excited!

It’s working … that poor tree got battered by winds yesterday and most of those beautiful leaves are gone now … but I’m glad I got to see it in all its glory. It was a wonderful reminder that there’s many beauties around if only I look. MJ
