Facial lessons

“Some people come into your life as blessings; others come as lessons.”

This is the face I’ve caught myself making when encountering yet another lesson.

You?

  1. Oh, you know it, girlfriend!!! I’ve never heard that quote before, but it is spot on – as is the picture! Have a good Friday, and enjoy you weekend, MJ!

  2. Ah ah! Very true! May we learn from the lessons ;-)

  3. Hahaha. That face is spot-on. Particularly when an aggressive new lesson is driving like a jerk.

  4. LOL!!! Oh. My. Gosh. And isn’t that exactly how we feel too?! Hilarious!
    Have a great day/weekend MJ.

  5. LOL good one, MJ. Love Carol Burnett.

  6. Too funny! You crack me up! Good quote too. :)

    • It’s a good one to remember when someone is testing your patience; sometimes, for me, the biggest lesson I can take from another is “well that’s now how to behave!” And I have a few at work that teach me that EVERY DAY! MJ

  7. “Blessings” or “lessons” … that’s a good way to think about the people who cross our paths. I consider the majority of people to be blessings, but there are a select few who continuously try to teach me something. I’m sure that eye-rolling look is one that happens across my face on a regular basis!

  8. Perfect. There are WAY too many lessons out there …

  9. Exactly — and my cup would be holding coffee — not tea — Sometimes, I just reach for a sip of coffee, in acknowledgment.
