I’ve been thinking a lot lately about a decision that’s before me; one that I admit to feeling hesitant about.
Yesterday I heard this quote: “Doubt means don’t.”
Today I found this picture at left.
Think the universe may be trying to tell me what I already know?
It doesn’t matter what the decision is … this can apply to any of us at any time.
I’m going with my “gut.”
You?
I like the saying, “Doubt means don’t” I add something to it though. “Don’t for now”
Oh, Lissa, I like what you’ve added… thank you! MJ
Doubt often leads to mistakes in my line of work. I am not sure what “type of decision” you have before you, but for me, I rely on the fact I am very well trained to make my decisions.
If you are very familiar with the choices and the situation in which you find yourself, then I would put money on you!
Hello HL1981. I hear you .. and I think it’s that I am unfamiliar with the choices that’s leaving me feeling unsettled. I’m pretty intuitive and the only times I’ve gotten myself into a troubling situation is when I didn’t listen to that inner voice. I do appreciate your vote of confidence though! 🙂 MJ
I too have some major decisions in front of me…new location, job questions…there’s a mix of excitement and anxiety with any significant change. I wish I had words of wisdom to give! But I have a lot of the same questions. So I’ll just wish you luck in sorting the pros and cons and hope that whatever you decide is right for you. You seem to have a lot of wisdom, so I would anticipate that you’ll ulitmately make the right choice.
Thank you, Sheila and I wish the same for you .. peace! -MJ
This is sidebar material….if you don’t mind me pilfering it….
I do not mind 🙂
and here i thought it was a quote from mr. spock….learn something new every day
It is .. I think I see his name below the pic… MJ
i”m the member of Trust nO one………….
I would like to know more .. why that is? MJ
What about those times when you’re certain, when you have no doubt, and your gut feeling urges you to do something which you end up regretting later?
(I speak from personal experience) 😦
There are certainly those times….but as I’ve gotten older, those have been fewer and farther apart. Mostly, when I’ve gotten myself into a pickle, it’s because I didn’t listen to what my heart knew for sure. Thank you for commenting!! MJ
