It’s Tuesday; I’m up and at it, and getting ready for the day. The forecast is calling for milder weather (yay) and I’m involved in several juicy projects at work. That makes the day fly by! Supper’s already cooked and in the fridge and I get to end my day with a massage (redeeming a Christmas gift certificate from my sweet hubbs)!
Today, I’m feeling groovy.
How about you? Are you grooving or slugging through February?
I’m kinda in between. Not really wanting to go to work tomorrow, but….I have to.
I hear you Cuppy. February can be hard in my corner of the world – it’s usually dark, grey and … cold. But today? Sunny, bright and mild. And I’ll take it! 🙂
How much fun that Simon & Garfunkel were the inspirations for our blogs on this day?! Enjoy the sunshine :)!
A happy coincidence :)… Cheers!
I have been loving these past few days. The weather is warm enough for the pups to relax on the deck, and I can get work done without wondering what they’re up too! Like Bowie, who thinks she needs to drag out every undergarment from the laundry basket. I treasure this wonderful weather!
PS. Having supper taken care of is a wonderful feelings, isn’t it? 🙂
Yes CM’s wife, for me, it takes the dark, bitter days to make me dance in the sunlight of a 40F day. And having supper taken care of is a respite for me – the cook — as much as I like to cook, I don’t like it as a “chore” after a full day at my job… it’s a decadent feeling indeed.
Thanks for weighing in and enjoy the warmth on the deck w/your pups! MJ
I am waiting for humidity to return. Despite a humidifyier going in the boys’ room our upstairs stays dry. And that means I do not sleep well. Which means I am cranky. Plus my pansies are getting mildew on them again after I did a big cut. Man, I need some wine to get rid of the whine.
And here in MI it’s just the opposite – dank and humid! I am sorry you’re not sleeping well … that, in my book, just affects everything… Hope it turns around soon for you – MJ
Well, I was feeling groovy, running 7 miles yesterday! But today I woke up sick. Like, so sick I have been in bed all day. I think it is from the travelling. Yuck. Hope you enjoy your massage!
Oh no!! That doesn’t seem fair (outstanding workout one day, sickness the next.) Boo hiss! I hope everyone’s taking care of you … and the massage? Divine. Deep tissue — kind of an ooh oww but hurts so good. I’m sure I’ll be sore tomorrow though .. hope you feel better real soon. -MJ
I was slugging for the past couple of weeks, but the warmer weather has me feeling a little groovy too.
Hi Terri, yes for me the sunshine sure makes a lot of difference — enjoy your day, MJ.
