On Wishes …

A dream is a wish your heart makes
     When you’re fast asleep
In dreams you lose your heartaches
Whatever you wish for, you keep

Have faith in your dreams and someday
Your rainbow will come smiling thru
No matter how your heart is grieving
    If you keep on believing
The dream that you wish will come true

What are you wishing for today?

I’m wishing for a successful week this week 🙂

  2. I’m wishing for your foot to heal quickly 🙂 Beautiful poem, thank you.

I’m wishing for a Sunday that doesn’t move along too quickly.

Glad to hear you’re doing well post-surgery!

  4. Wishing for an end to this blasted winter!

  5. Amen Terri! 🙂 the sun is shining here and that helps a LOT. Cheers, MJ

  6. I always wondered what the exact words were to that song! I usually sing the first and last lines, as that’s all I know. Thanks for taking the time to post about it — and hope your dreams come true too!

    • You’re so welcome; I’ve always loved that song … and I sang it to my boys when they were little, too. Cheers! MJ
