On calming the storm

My thoughts are with all of you, my East Coast friends.

Stay safe. Stay calm.

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” – Deuteronomy 31:8

  1. You won’t believe this, MJ, but I had originally typed that quote in today’s post – then took it out, planning to use it probably tomorrow or the next day. So don’t be surprised if you see it again soon. It’s a good one, and this is a good time to keep it in mind! Thanks!

  2. Love this quote. And how thoughtful of you to find something comforting for your East Coast friends.

    • I sure hope it’s over-hyped but boy it doesn’t look that way does it? Staying calm in MI; we’re expected to get 25′ waves on Lake MI from this monster – yikes!

  3. Wow, MJ, isn’t this appropriate for us on this SUnday before the big story? Hope you’ve had a lovely weekend, my friend.
    Hugs,
    Kathy

    • I thought so; I read it and it calmed me and then I thought there are others who can benefit as well. It has been a restorative weekend, take care Kathy!

  7. What a wonderful quote for any storm in life. I shall keep it on my desktop. Thanks M.J.

    • I’m so glad you feel that way, I have it on my desk at work and it helps keep me centered from the craziness that sometimes swirls around me!! Bests, MJ
