Happy Leftovers Day

Turkey, pumpkin, cranberries and more.Β  Nope, I had no guilt having pie for breakfast today. None at all.

For more on why you ought to skip the guilt and enjoy yourself instead, visit a noted Dietician’s post on the Top 10 Reasons To Enjoy Your Thanksgiving Day Meal.

C’mon Grampa, drop something! Happy Franksgiving! (an emjayandthem photo)

  1. Will check out the link this afternoon when time permits. We also had a “bigger than usual” breakfast, but no pie! Have a good weekend, MJ!

    • Have a good one yourself, Dianna! I had pie for breakfast, leftovers for lunch and then a brisk walk in the neighborhood before I hit the food coma point πŸ™‚

  2. I’ve seen that “focused and determined” look before with dogs. It’s not “begging”, more like “if I look long enough at him, I WILL BE REWARDED!” Great photo MJ. πŸ™‚

    • That’s the one, RR. Grampa (Hibbs’s Step-Dad) has a soft spot for all things furry, and Frankie takes full advantage of it πŸ™‚

      Happy Leftover day!

  3. Oh, MJ, this is priceless. Frankie is so darn darling with anticipation, and to be honest, I think the title of this post is pretty much perfect!!!!

Yum – you should end the day with pie as well πŸ™‚

  5. My goodness Frankie is SO cute!

  6. I’ve been known to enjoy a slice of pie or cake for breakfast on rare occasions…the breakfast of champions! ~ Sheila
