I wrote about Boston yesterday. Today I found out about an odd coincidence:
Sheryl, the gal who taught my blogging class so long ago? She’s a runner and ran the Boston, her first time. She and her family are OK and you can visit her blog at: e2dietician.com.
I don’t know why but, somehow, finding this out made me feel better.
Not about what happened. Not about what people are going through.
About the connections we make that seem so happenstance at the time.
About feeling a little less alone in all this turmoil.
About knowing that there’s a larger plan in place than what I know it to be.
“Coincidences are just God’s way of remaining anonymous.”
Have you ever experienced a coincidence that gave you comfort?

I love that quote! So glad that your friend is okay; I can understand that knowing she’s okay was comforting to you. Coincidence/happenstance/syncronicity: they’re all so interesting!
I am so glad also .. and I agree … happenstances are so very interesting! MJ

-got it!
Emjay, Thanks so much for the post. I am overwhelmed and very grateful for all of the prayers and well wishes having arrived home safely with my family. The normal burden of grocery shopping, laundry and cooking homemade meals after vacation are now a welcomed blessing. 2 minutes is the distance I had and I am grateful for every single 120 seconds. I am mournful for the spectators I passed in the stands cheering and the runners who followed me. Coincidence? I didn’t stop for the last water or gatorade break – 120 seconds gained.
120 seconds gained = what a difference just 2 MINUTES made = wow! So glad you and your family are ok, Sheryl, and I’m glad we’ve stayed in touch after that class so long ago, even if it was only via Facebook posts & blogs!! Peace to you, MJ
Wow, isn’t that the truth! God’s way of remaining anonymous. I need to rememer that!
Sorry to have been away so much recently. I’ve been busy moving, moving, moving. We leave for Ecuador two weeks from today!
I promise an actual post tomorrow! It’s been nearly two months since I’ve written. Yikes!
Hugs,
Kathy
I’ve missed your posts, Kathy, and simply assumed you’d reappear from Ecuador — you take care and remember, there are no coincidences!
Hugs
