Dorothy dreamed of flying over her Kansas home; with the help of family and Hospice, this 92 year old did.

What do you dream of doing?

this is a family blog so we are not going to get into that here….

  3. Now that’s impressive! 🙂 ~ Sheila

  4. Beyond fantastic! Looks like fun, too.

  5. So beautiful. So sweet of everyone to make this happen for her. 🙂 Tears are streaming – that song just touches me. (It’s a favorite of my cousin, who’s bedridden in a nursing home, battling cancer…) Of course, the fact that Ellis was my mother’s maiden name just adds to the emotions.

    • Well if it makes you feel any better, I cry every single time I watch it. Love the song. It’s perfect. So sorry about your cousin, I know it’s been a long battle. I have a good friend just starting hers; tough stuff.

  6. Precious. Thank you for sharing this.

  7. Way to go! Isn’t this inspirational!

  8. So glad her wish was granted!

  9. This brought tears and smiles! Kudos to Dorothy for pursuing her dream in spite of her age and health!
