A little more

“Well, we have a whole new year ahead of us.

And wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could all be a little more gentle with each other, a little more loving, have a little more empathy, and maybe next year at this time we’d like each other a little more.”- Judy Garland.

  1. Agreed…it would be nice.

  2. Hey MJ–
Sorry to have missed posts. I’ve been away from the blogosphere for nearly two weeks. We’ve had guests from the US and have been traveling around our new home country. We are at the airport getting ready to fly from Quito to Cuenca, at which time posting should return to normal.
    Happy New Year!

    Hugs from Ecuador,

  3. Just perfect! Happy New Year to you and yours, MJ. Looking forward to another year of our blogging friendship!

    • Agreed! one of the best things about the journey of blogging has been meeting other wonderful people like you, Dianna! Cheers ~ MJ

  4. Love it, and happy new year! 🙂 DM

  5. Such good advice. I think I need to swallow some of my pride and follow it in the coming year. Maybe the difficult people in my life would seem less difficult if I gave a little. Happy New Year!

    • I think it’s good advice as well … and a good reminder as I have some in my way who are more difficult than anything else … I always wonder, “What’s the lesson here?” Argh 🙂

  6. Happy New Year, MJ!

  7. Happy New Year, MJ!!!

Given the position of the ears, it looks like the cat is biting the dog, which would be very cat-appropriate. That, by the way, is one beautiful dog. Not to mention tolerant. Maybe that’s another good lesson to take into the new year…

    • I agree that the kitty looks up to a bit of mischief! And that is a beautiful, sweet and tolerant dog. I’m thinking an Australian Cattle dog/Border Collie mix? Like many we had on the farm growing up, it’s the eyes that get you.

      Happy New Year!

  9. Yes! Happy New Year MJ.
