Insanity or just a good beat?

Saw this yesterday and my toe’s been a-tapping ever since.

  1. That video made my day! (and made me smile) Just reposted it on Face book. Thank you MJ 😉 DM

  2. Absolutely loved it, MJ!!! Music and the elderly: two of my favorite things in the world. (And you just know that little lady in the green pants suit is a spit-fire!) Thanks for sharing!

    • I agree, she’s got some moves. My favorite was the guy who wheeled up to the piano’s end and was “playing” along.

      • He was fun, too. I used to play the piano at the nursing home when my mom was a resident there (although nothing like THIS!), but it was always heartwarming to see the residents enjoying the music.

      • Indeed! And our children’s church choir used to perform at the “old folk’s” home – we had the most fun when we got to improvise and do “sing-a-long” type songs. 🙂

      • When I was a little girl, our GA’s at church did the same… so meaningful to both generations!

      • (smile!)

  3. I think the lovely lady in the green suit is wearing her dancing Mary Janes. Adorable.

  5. Awesome way to start my morning!

  7. Great song!! Have you seen some of their other videos? They’re version of “Emmanuel” makes me tear up its SO soulful.

  8. Okay, MJ, THIS made me laugh out loud–with absolute delight! Gosh, this was wonderful. I’m goona share via FB and Twitter.

I don’t think I’ve missed any posts of yours recently, but I’m trying to let folks know that it’s going to be a busy month for Sara and me–traveling to the beach, teaching a week-long workshop, and having friends visit from the US. Fun, but YIKES!

I can always make time for you, cause you don’t post EVERY DAY. (God, I just can’t keep up with those folks.) But if I miss something, please know I still love you and will be back!

    Hugs from Ecuador,

    • Agreed; just pure joy 🙂 Makes me grin every time I watch it!!
You have a busy time coming up — enjoy every minute and, no worries, I’ll be around when you get time to pop back in 🙂
      Cheers 🙂

  9. That is happy-inducing! I love me some Charlie Brown music. It’s impossible not to move one body part or another along with the rhythm!
