1. For all the snow we had this winter, record amounts in fact, we need rain. How does that work?
2. No plans this weekend. Oh sure there’s yard stuff to do and inside stuff to do but, for at least 2 days, I have no particular place to be and I am absolutely digging that!
3. Yesterday I was reading a message on my Smart phone and happened to catch my reflection — I stopped, laughed and realized that a lot of us, including me, make the same face when looking down: we look like Grumpy Cat! From now on I vow to bring my phone to eye level even if I look odd doing it.
4. Lilacs. Still gorgeous. The end.
2. I came across another Traveling Wilburys song that I’ve been playing a lot of lately. George is adorable and Tom is cool but I think it’s Roy’s haunting voice that draws me back again and again. You?
Have a great weekend, peeps!
Love the Wilburys! They look so young (and alive!). My lilacs are at the end too. Boo! There is still a lot of good smelling blossoms in the yard though. Have a great day!
I agree 🙂 My lilacs are nearly done but they were absolutely glorious this year. But then, I say that every year – they’re my favorite!
Happy Saturday!

Oh, yeah…George is still adorable…unlike all my other friends, he was my favorite from the beginning. Enjoy your selective participation weekend!
He’s still adorable, it’s just that simple 🙂
Happy weekending!

Mmmm, Lilacs! I’ve always loved them. Not sure why I’ve yet to plant any in my yard! Being outside this week, I’ve appreciated the smells of spring. Last weekend it was the flowering crab apple trees. Mid week, it was fresh cut grass and fabric softener (!) And this morning it was Lilacs.
I encourage you to plant one 🙂 they’re very hardy, love colder climates, the more snow the better they do and you can basically ignore them and they’ll grow and produce flowers, year after year. At least that’s my gardening philosophy!
The crab apple trees here have been just beautiful, too … Happy (belated) Spring!

Your lilacs really showed their stuff this year–bountiful blossoms. I still enjoy listening to Roy Orbison’s music. I’ll have to remember that about bringing the phone up to eye level!
I love Roy’s beautiful voice and yes the lilacs were spectacular this year 😉
