If you captured your summer in snapshots what would it look like?
Here are a few from my summer:
1. My “Hey Now!” Salsa …by the trough.

What? Where’s the margarita! For me that’s definitely a summer drink along with beer on a hot day.
You’re right, I forgot that 🙂

HA HA…never lasted long enough to take a picture of your salsa. MMM…looks great, even better with an ice cold beer!! Have you ever tried it on your burgers or brats? I’ll bet its one of those salsa that makes everything taste better!!
Loved the dog/Batman pic!!
One thing that I really enjoy about summer is when its cool enough to drive with the windows down and someone has just mowed some alfalfa. Sweet smelling alfalfa.
The salsa is great on salad or grilled chicken – I’m sure it would be good on a burger or dog, too 🙂
Sweet alfalfa is nectar of the Gods, I do declare!

This is a post full of cheer and all the goodness of summer. 🙂
Thank you! I love all the seasons 🙂 MJ
My snapshots would definitely include flip flops….. beachcombing with my friends, outside working in my flowers….
Love your list!
oh yes – flip flops and summer go hand in hand. 🙂 MJ
You have to know MJ’s salsa feeds this family army at the lake the first week of July. We scoop it over drinks before dinner…ahhhhh! Thanks again for sharing from the vault a couple of years ago.
You’re welcome – it’s a favorite and I just made some more yesterday 🙂 Glad to hear your family enjoys it, too! MJ
Mine would include bunches of pictures of the sweet, silly dog, my daughter’s always-smiling face, full leafy trees and colorful flowers, bare toes in green grass and my running shoes.
Thanks for giving me a new way to look at my summer days. Fun!
Absolutely must include pictures of your silly dog and smiley girl 🙂 Enjoy summer — it doesn’t last long! MJ
