2 For Tuesday

It’s Tuesday – September 2nd – and just how did that happen?

1. Back to school today and it’s our grand-daughter’s first day of Kindergarten!  I took the wee ones school shopping last Sunday so here they are modeling new backpacks, shoes, hoodies and more.   Those bright neon colors from the Madonna-80’s era are back in force!  And Nana can’t help but notice the photo of our two boys in the background ~ pretty sure that was taken only 15 min. ago!

2.  Saw this picture on Facebook and had to share it … What does the fox say?

  1. That’s a great photo of the kids. They look as happy as I always felt on the first day of school. And that fox? Amazing. And funny. I have a photographer or two I’m sharing that one with.

  2. I wish your grands a great day and a wonderful week back to school. How nice they go back after Labor Day and not during summer like here in TX. They look pretty excited for the first day of school.
And that fox photo is funny!

    • We used to go back sooner, too, but things were changed about 5 years ago and now there’s no school till after the LD Holiday = makes sense to me 🙂

That fox cracks me up! MJ

  3. Love the fox photo… the grands are gorgeous… mine started back 2 weeks ago. They are happy to be back, so far 🙂

  4. A big day for the littles. I know what you mean, how did it get to be September, and it couldn’t have been all that long ago we sent our own off to school. You have a great week, too, MJ.

  5. Adorable little grands; hope they have a wonderul school year! And that fox photo is so cute!

  6. Aw, what a bittersweet day! The time is flying as usual. My son started middle school and I swore I just dropped him off for his first day of preK!

  7. So cute the grands!!

Loved the fox photo…thanks for sharing.

  8. Hope those cute kiddos had a fabulous first day of school!

  9. Ah, back to school! Such an important ritual, the first day of school photos, and the new backpacks! Fun that you’re able to experience this with them!
Love the fox photos too! So cute. I’ve seen the fox video a couple of times. This is perfect! ~ Sheila
