You don’t say

It's a bit hard to believe, but Kevin Photo credit - L.A. Times' Katie Falkenberg

Kevin Costner is 60 today.  I don’t know about you but my first reaction to hearing that was “Holy wow and Hubba hubba!”

I’m 51; if he’s what 60 looks like I say yes to aging beautifully!

What is your favorite Costner movie?   Mine has to be the epic western “Dances with Wolves” followed closely by the twisty and suspenseful “Mr. Brooks.”

Happy Monday, peeps!

  1. I’m not a big movie goer, but- Bull Durham -……sigh….”the small of a woman’s back”, the cleared-off kitchen counter…..sigh…..
    Happy Birthday, Kevin….sigh….

  2. And after just googling the “I believe” speech, I obviously saw the G-rated version of that movie!

  3. The older I get the more I find older men sexy. Of course in his job he needs to keep in shape. What do they say….60 is the new 40? So you are in countdown to your 40th birthday!

  4. I’m older than Kevin but what the heck – – “Hubba Hubba!” 🙂

  5. Hubba hubba! I loved him in No Way Out.

  6. My favorite is also “Dances with Wolves” but I also like “The Postman”. He’s so great in everything!

  7. I will say I enjoy watching The Mysteries of Laura partially because Jake (Josh Lucas) looks so much like Kevin Costner.

  8. I remember for a while, thinking that Kevin Costner was beginning to look like he was aging. Now that he’s there, I have to agree. He looks amazing! I loved Dances with Wolves too, and also could watch Bull Durham anytime, anywhere. Love hearing him say, “I like long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days …”

    • I agree – he did have a “haggard” period but he seems to have pulled out of it.

Several of you ladies have mentioned Bull Durham .. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it – but I think I’d better 😉 MJ

  9. I think “Message in a Bottle” is the only one of his films I’ve seen. I hope I still look good at 60–not too many months away.
