It’s Sunday, sunny and bright.
Did you Spring forward?
We did, last night.
It’s Sunday, time to cook and clean.
Laundry’s done, groceries are ready, my guys have spoken, they want chicken spaghetti.
That plus some Poor Man’s and they’ll be all set, and I’ll settle in for my long winter’s nap …nothing. Gargh!
Here’s a picture from our birthday celebration yesterday: Oldest boy and his cubs. Our Grandson is affectionately known as “The Rooster” – his internal clock can rival any alert system ever created. Little lady is known as “The Governor” for her effective negotiating skills. Good times and much ❤ yesterday.
So tell me, does Daylight Savings time kick your butt, too? How do you spend your Sundays?
It takes the cats a few days to adjust to the new feeding schedule. Other than that, it’s not bad. It’s much easier when it doesn’t look so wintery out but we are hoping the snow will melt this week.
Our snow is quickly melting – it’s been grand! 🙂 MJ
The Rooster and the Governor – I love it! What a bunch of cuties! Your son looks so happy. As for daylight savings time, I’m one of those weird people who has a harder time falling back than springing forward.
The Rooster and the Governor are 2 unique characters, that’s for sure 🙂 He is happy and doing well and his beautiful face shows it – makes a Mom’s heart smile 🙂
I am nearly used to the DST now but it took me 4 days to get here … MJ
Sounds like a fun weekend! I don’t seem to have any problem with the time changes… thankfully. Have a great week, MJ!
Lucky for you 🙂 MJ
great nick names. 🙂 The change didn’t feel to bad this morning…I’m an early riser anyway, so even if it was an hour later, I still got to sleep in till 7 the new time. Sundays are normally very low key. We do the church gig in the morning, relaxing lunches, naps/ putter in the afternoons…tried to watch season 4 of Downton Abbey tonight but Amazon prime was acting up… Sundays are my relax/ catch up day around the casa… need to finish pruning our apple trees this coming week. the buds are starting to swell, which means the sap is starting to flow.
Sounds like you had a beautiful Sunday, DM 🙂 Please post some pictures of your Apple trees in Spring – thank you! MJ
MJ, this is my pet peeve. Why, in a civilized world, can we not pick one time and stick to it? Other countries manage to do this just fine, even a couple of states in the US refuse to succumb to this torture. I suppose you can tell I have not yet recovered. Yikes!
Me either! Saskatchewan sits between Mountain and Central time and we just don’t change there. Period. I liked that and have never, in 30 years, adjusted to time changes. Or maybe I just like whining about it LOL 🙂
MJ
Just found this–I liked the May option! Looks like you had a fun weekend. Changing the clocks goofs me up for a few days. I seem to know by the light/where the sun is what time it is–whether it agrees with the clock, or not.
me too!! I had SF — it drags me down every year! MJ
