Try it and see what happens

yes racoon

“Once you make up your mind and start something… Once you commit to it, say “Yes!” and never look back.

Do you have any doubt that I won’t rush to your side?  That legions won’t be summoned? That players won’t be drawn to help, assist, and fall in love? That connections won’t be made? Circumstances won’t be crafted? Dots won’t be connected?  That the course of history won’t be irrevocably changed?

Good, I didn’t think so.

I’d say you’re ready,”

Happy Monday!  What are you saying “yes” to this week?

  1. Yes to getting the house and yard ready for two upcoming events in the next couple of weeks! Have a great week, MJ!

    • Yes~ Enjoy!
I am saying YES to being in the moment. In just over a week I’ll be flying off to spend a week with Mum, and try to s-l-o-w down time and enjoy every minute! And yes to summer fruits, veggies, sunshine, tunes and road trips 😀 MJ

  2. I have said “yes” to tackling a 2 story house roof, I committed to doing last year when I had a crew that could climb. Those guys are gone, so now it’s me and one larger young man who can not climb worth a hoot. So I have been forced to make much smaller more realistic goals for what we can do in a day…and little by little we will conquer this nasty roof, in the middle of the July heat. Still have 4 days left, but the worst part we finished today. ( I also had to let go, my latest hire because he could not take the heat, or climb…talk about multiple challenges coming @ me back to back….(this is also the job where the cranky old farmer we are working for, sits on the ground in a chair watching us work. I have learned to block him out for the most part, but it does leaven me exhausted @ the end of every day. Are you hiring? 😉 Maybe I can work for you for a few weeks?

    • That’s a lot to take on – a complicated (and dangerous) job, a questionable crew and a cranky puss watching every move? I have total confidence in you – slow and steady will win this race. Please be careful up there 🙂 MJ

  3. Don’t you just love those TUT messages? So inspiring!

What have I said yes to this week? Gosh, it doesn’t feel like I’ve said yes to anything. I’m not sure where the week went. But there’s a mini family vacation in my very near future. A nice long weekend at the lake with my hubby and all the kids. I guess that’s what I’ve said yes to this week. (And I haven’t even begun to prepare, but we’ll get there!)

Hope you’re having a great week, MJ!

    • I do – and the cool thing is the lady who shared it with me is my FIRST mentor (besides Mom) – and I said yes to meeting HER at the airport when I fly home next week. We haven’t seen each other in 30 years. How fun is that 🙂

Enjoy the lake time – those days are the best!! MJ

  4. Yes to slowing down and enjoying what is left of summer.
